The Certification Process
1. Consultation & Proposal
An online meeting with your dedicated sales contact to understand your needs, followed by a quotation.
2. Contract & Planning
After agreement, an Accesible® auditor schedules the audit with your on-site contact person.
3. Accessibility Audit
A 2–4 hour on-site assessment of all public and customer areas (external and internal), including measurements, pictures, video and technical documentation.
4. Evaluation & Certification Level
The collected data is analysed against the requirements of the different user groups. Based on inclusion level, the location receives a rating.
5. Reporting, Communication & Validation
You receive the full audit report with improvement recommendations, certification, a dedicated accessibility profile on our interactive maps and visibility on our booking platform. The Certification remains valid for 2 years with annual renewal and invoicing.
6. What it means
This project creates a digital ecosystem for accessible tourism, combining an interactive map with a booking platform for certified hotels. It enables people with disabilities to plan and book their travels with confidence and peace of mind by removing uncertainty around accessibility.
